In My Own Words: A True Story of Physical and Emotional Abuse in a Residential School run by Christian Brothers

In this video, you will see a highlight of the book IN MY OWN WORDS. It tells the true story of a boy in Ireland on 1964, the twelve-year-old child was summonsed to appear at Dublin's Magistrates Court for an amateurish break-in - just like hundreds and hundreds of boys were forced to do as this was part of a dirty and evil organized crime scheme by the Catholic church and State.
Sentenced to serve three years of dailly hard labor at the Letterfrack Industrial School, young Mickey soon found himself in a malevolent place of correction, subject to the institutionalized abuse of children at the hands of the Christian Brothers - the corrupt religious order of the Catholic Church responsible for the abuse of children in residential schools in Canada, USA, Australia and abroad. During his sentence, Mickey and hundreds of other children were physically and mentally tortured and abused. With Taliban-like zeal, the Christian Brothers methodically administered random, life-threatening beatings merely on a whim; the more injurious were witnessed by fellow brothers, and many witnessed by other terrified children...
Charges of sexual and psychological abuse, molestation, and rape of children by Catholic Church priests have been made in the United States, Ireland, Kenya, The Philippines, Austria, Belgium, Croatia, The Czech Republic, France, Germany, Italy, Malta, The Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Slovenia, Sweden, Great Britain, Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, and Peru.
